Terms of Use

Ownwork is an app that helps independent skilled owners run their business: a booking page, bookings and reminders, client records and a money book, with Oro, an AI business assistant. Ownwork is run by Ownwork Software Development Services, a business name registered with the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (Business Name No. 8530487) and owned by Billy Joe Beato.

• You must be 18 or older and use Ownwork for your own business.
• Give true details, and keep your sign-in email, phone and codes to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Ownwork will never ask for your password, PIN or one-time code in chat.

Bookings, client records and your money book stay free. Some extras may be paid later. If that happens, you'll hear first and choose for yourself.

Text messages (SMS) use text credits. Every owner gets 100 free texts once. You can buy more credits in the app. Text credits don't expire and can't be refunded. If we charged you by mistake, such as twice or without adding your credits, tell us and we'll fix it or refund you.

Ownwork never holds, moves or splits money. Down payments and payments go straight from your client to you, through your own GCash, bank or cash. Ownwork does not check whether a payment arrived; "DP received" is your own record. A booking confirmation is not an official receipt. You are responsible for your own prices, refunds to your clients, receipts and taxes.

Your clients' details belong to you. You are responsible for collecting and using them lawfully under the Data Privacy Act, including telling your clients how you use their details. Ownwork processes them only to run your business for you, as our Privacy Notice explains.

• You own what you add: your photos, prices, service descriptions and words.
• You let Ownwork store and show it, so your booking page works, can be shared, and can appear in search engines and AI search tools.
• We will not use your page, photos or name in Ownwork's own marketing without your written OK.
• Only post photos you have the right to use. Get your client's permission before posting a photo that shows their face.

Oro is an AI, and it is always labeled as one. It works only for you, inside the app, and never messages your clients. Oro can make mistakes, so check what it suggests. It never changes a booking or your records without your Confirm, and you are responsible for what you confirm.

Don't use Ownwork to:

• break the law, or offer services that are illegal where you work;
• send spam or messages your clients didn't agree to;
• mislead clients about who you are, your prices or your services;
• harm Ownwork, other owners or their clients, or try to get into accounts that aren't yours.

We may pause or close an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you why first.

We work to keep Ownwork running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be down or error-free. Ownwork is provided as it is. Keep your own record of important bookings while we grow.

To the extent the law allows, Ownwork is not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost bookings or income, and our total responsibility is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing here removes rights you have under Philippine consumer law.

You can delete your account at any time in the app; download your data first if you want a copy. We may close accounts as described in section 8. If Ownwork itself ever shuts down, we will give you at least 30 days' notice to download your data.

When we change these terms, we update the date above. If the change matters, we tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
